Bronwyn Davies is an Australian scholar, born in Tamworth, New South Wales, whose academic career spanned the University of New England, James Cook University and Western Sydney University, where she is now Emeritus Professor. Alongside Rom Harre she contributed to the development of positioning theory, drawing on feminist scholarship to expand its treatment of subjectivity, storyline and narrative. She now works as an independent scholar.
